Forest
Stewardship Partners
Keeping your forest healthy is the best way to ensure a healthy
return on your investment. And ensuring a healthy forest begins by implementing
your Forest Stewardship Plan.
USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) can help you do just that.
Through its Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), NRCS can assist you
in protecting and improving your forest stands – which is a prescription for
forest health.
The program provides incentives to re-establish forest stands and treat related
natural resource concerns such as forest health, water quality, and wildlife
habitat. The program is available to private forest landowners and will be
delivered through a partnership with the Washington Department of Natural
Resources (DNR).
